CP - Responses to fear

“We’ve got to talk about this fear and decide there’s nothing in it. I’m frightened myself, sometimes; only that’s nonsense! Like bogies. Then, when we’ve decided, we can start again and be careful about things like the fire.” A picture of three boys walking along the bright beach flitted through his mind. “And be happy.”

On your blog, in approximately two paragraphs, please do the following:

  • Identify something that makes you experience fear (please remember you are publishing this!)
  • Describe the feeling of fear that this gives you
  • When you are faced with this situation, what is your reaction--fight or flight? ("Fight" means you confront the situation; "Flight" means you run away from the situation.)
  • Is one of these responses better than the other? Why?
